  Drake placed an extraordinary bet earlier this week, as he revealed he had placed a $300k wager on Canada. Had they been victorious, he would have pocketed $2.8m (£2m), but Argentina won 2-0 thanks to goals from Julian Alvarez and Lionel Messi.

  Argentina's X account clearly knew of Drake's wager and chose to send some shade the rapper's way. Of course, Drake has been engaged in a beef with Kendrick recently, although many fans and critics have made it clear that, just like with his bet, the Canadian has been defeated.

  Argentina made reference to Kendrick's immediately iconic diss track 'Not Like Us' after full-time. The official AFA account posted a picture of Messi and his Argentina team-mates celebrating with the caption: "Not like us, not with us."
